Ein paar Eindrücke von unserem Launchevent am 14. Oktober...
Es ist 15:00 Uhr am 14. Oktober 2022, das Wetter ist viel besser, als wir es für diese Jahreszeit eigentlich hätten erwarten können. Es scheint, als wollte sich Berlin für das Event von seiner besten Seite zeigen. Stunden später war die Party dann in vollem Gange.
Die Flure und Hallen, in denen Stunden zuvor noch motivierte und ernste Gesichter zu sehen waren, waren jetzt voller Lächeln und glücklicher Augen. Das Büro verwandelte sich in eine Galerie, eine Tanzfläche, einen Latin-Club und sogar einen Laufsteg, auf dem der Alkohol aufgrund der Nachfrage ausging, nur um später wieder aufzutauchen. Es gab schließlich auch viele Gründe zum Feiern.
Das Erdgeschoss des Büros wurde zum Bodegón in den Straßen von Havanna. Der Old Papa Foodtruck in der Mitte, die Stühle zum Teilen mit Freunden und kubanische Musik aus offenen Türen.

Kubanische visuelle Künstler haben den Raum geschmückt. Arian Irsula, Carolina Romillo Marin, Mauricio Llopiz und Dayami Muños machten die Wände von unserem Cuba Buddy Büro zu einer Galerie für alle unsere Freunde aus Berlin und Havanna.
Gegen 17:30 Uhr brachte der sehr charismatische Entertainer Roger uns alle zum Tanzen. Er selbst lernte diese Tanzschritte als Kind in Kuba. Für einige waren es die ersten Salsa-Schritte, für andere war es ein Stück Heimat.
„Die Atmosphäre war fantastisch, ich denke, die kubanische Gemeinschaft in Berlin braucht mehr Veranstaltungen wie diese, zumindest einmal im Monat, es war großartig.“

Die Abendüberraschung erschien gegen 18:45 Uhr. Clandestina-Cuba Buddy, eine Kollektion, die eine Brücke zwischen allen Anwesenden schlug. Die Modenschau sollte Gelächter, Applaus und Zurufe hervorrufen. Alles wurde selbstverständlich aufgezeichnet und auf Social Media mit allen geteilt.
Dann kam Mambo Feeling, eine unglaubliche Salsa-Band. Gianluca Loto spielte uns ein paar Lieder und Isasi DJ überzeugte mit seinen super Mixen. Die Leute tanzten, bis der Alkohol und die Schüchternheit verschwanden. Die Barkeeper wussten, wie sie sich über all das hinwegsetzen konnten, eine Tatsache, die sich im Laufe des Abends als Vorteil herausstellen sollte.
Was bis 23:00 Uhr geplant war, ging natürlich noch etwas länger. Es war sehr schwer, sich zu verabschieden. Freunde, Kollegen, Bekannte, die sich später in Kuba wiedersehen würden. Die Straßen zwischen Havanna und Berlin… eine Geschichte, die sich immer wieder wiederholt.

Fiesta de lanzamiento Clandestina-Cuba Buddy
Son las 3:00 pm de un 14 de octubre del 2022, hace el mejor clima esperado para la temporada. Parece que Berlín quisiera mostrar su mejor cara para el evento, horas más tarde no habría que editar para mostrar lo increíble del ambiente.
Los pasillos y salones donde horas antes habían rostros motivados y serios con el trabajo ahora estaban llenos de sonrisas y ojos alegres. La oficina convertida en galería, pista de baile, club latino y hasta en pasarela donde se acabaría el alcohol por la demanda para reaparecer luego. Sobraban motivos para celebrar.
Los bajos de la oficina se hicieron aquel bodegón de las calles de la Habana. El Old Papa Foodtruck al centro, las sillas para compartir con amigos y la música cubana a puertas abiertas.

Los artistas visuales cubanos ornamentaban el espacio. Arian Irsula, Carolina Romillo Marin, Mauricio Llopiz, Dayami Muños hicieron de las paredes de Cuba Buddy aquella galería cercana para los amigos de Berlín y la Habana.
Alrededor de las 5:30 pm el muy carismático animador, Roger, nos llevó a todos a bailar lo que de niño aprendió en Cuba. Para algunos serían sus primeros pasos de salsa, para otros, tener la patria cerca.
“El ambiente era increíble, creo que la comunidad cubana en Berlín necesita más eventos como estos al menos una vez al mes, fue genial.”

La sorpresa de tarde aparecería sobre 6:45 pm. Clandestina-Cuba Buddy, una colección de puente para todos los que allí se encontraban. El Fashion Show arrancaría risas, aplausos, gritos, quedaría todo grabado para mostrarlo en redes sociales, compartir con otros.
Llegarían Mambo Feeling, Salsa band increíble, Gianluca Loto nos regalaría algunas canciones, Isasi DJ con sus muy acertadas mezclas. La gente bailaría hasta hacer desaparecer el alcohol, la timidez. Los camareros supieron navegar sobre todo esto, hecho que conspirará en la amenidad de la velada.
Lo que estaría planificado hasta las 11:00 de la noche se aplazó para un poco más tarde. Era muy difícil decir adiós. Amigos, colegas, conocidos que más tarde se encontrarán de nuevo en Cuba. Es que los caminos entre la Habana-Berlín son un cuento que se repite.

Clandestina-Cuba Buddy Launch Party
It’s 3:00 pm on October 14, 2022, and the weather is better than expected for the season. It looks like Berlin wanted to show its best face for the event, hours later you wouldn’t have to edit to show how amazing the atmosphere is.
The corridors and halls that hours before were filled with faces motivated and serious about work were now full of smiles and happy eyes. The office turned into a gallery, a dance floor, a Latin club and even a catwalk where the alcohol would run out due to the demand, only to reappear later. There were plenty of reasons to celebrate.
The first floor of the office became the bodegón of the streets of Havana with the Old Papa Foodtruck in the center, chairs to share with friends and Cuban music at open doors.

Cuban visual artists decorated the space. Arian Irsula, Carolina Romillo Marin, Mauricio Llopiz, Dayami Muños made the walls of Cuba Buddy a nearby gallery for friends from Berlin and Havana.
Around 5:30 pm the very charismatic entertainer, Roger, took us all to dance what he learned as a child in Cuba. For some it would be their first salsa steps. For others, it meant having their homeland close by.

The evening surprise would appear around 6:45 pm: Clandestina-Cuba Buddy, a collection that was a bridge between everyone present. The fashion show would start laughter, applause, shouts, and everything would be recorded to share it on social networks.
Mambo Feeling, Salsa band incredible, Gianluca Loto would give us some songs, along with Isasi DJ with his very successful mixes. People would dance until the alcohol and shyness disappeared. The bartenders knew how to navigate this, a fact that conspired in the pleasant and homey feeling of the evening.
What would have been planned until 11:00 p.m. was extended a little later. It was very difficult to say goodbye among friends, colleagues, acquaintances who would later meet again in Cuba. It is so that the roads between Havana-Berlin are a story that repeats itself.
